Varanasi for Animals (VFA)is a Project run by Helping Organisation for People, Environment (HOPE) & Animal Trust, a registered non-profit (Reg No. : 9549/IV – 799 Dated: 1st August 2001) initiative by a group of animal lovers and campaigners who want to make a difference in the lives of animals living on the streets of India.
The project VFA aims to bring interested parties such as individual animal lovers, business houses, civil society, schools, media, and authorities together to bring a lasting change in the lives of Varanasi’s animals. The initiative is an exclusive project of Help Animals India.
Our services are also available for public a Clinic and Rescue Shelter is ready.
VFA has developed a small recovery facility for animals. We use a motor bike fitted with a cage to pick up dogs. Looking forward to get you involved, please Contact us today if you find a sick or injured dog!

is a USA non-profit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to supporting efficient and effective animal protection organizations in India. We strive to put our donors’ contributions to work where they are most needed and can do the most good. Help Animals India currently distributes grants to groups in India. Please note: we are not a foundation with existing funds — we only have funds to distribute if the public donates to us.
Hope and Animal (Helping Organisation for People, Environment & Animal Trust) was founded in 1998 in Ranchi, Jharkand. The organization is run by young professionals from various fields including rural development and animal welfare.
